The Select Suppressed Components feature of the SolidWorks Cimtools Add-in is designed to automatically identify and select all components that are currently suppressed within one or multiple configurations of an assembly.

This feature is designed to improve efficiency and accuracy when working with complex assemblies within the SolidWorks environment.

By simply pressing the function, those first level elements of the assembly that are in a suppressed state will be selected in the SolidWorks Feature Manager.

Details Select Suppressed Components function in SolidWorks assembly

Main Characteristics:

    • If the assembly has only one configuration, all first-level deleted components of the active assembly configuration will be selected.
    • If the assembly has more than one configuration you can have the option to select deleted components only in the active configuration or components that are deleted in all configurations, i.e. if a component deleted in the active configuration is not deleted in any other configuration of the active assembly this component will not be selected.
    • Choose the option that best suits your needs.
