Add-in SolidWorks Cimtools Function : Delete dangling dimensions
The ‘Delete Hanging Dimensions’ feature of the SolidWorks Cimtools Add-in is designed to automatically identify and remove all dangling dimensions present in a SolidWorks drawing.
A dangling dimension refers to a dimension that no longer has a valid reference to the geometry of the drawing, which can occur due to changes in the model or the removal of entities.
These dimensions not only cause confusion but can also negatively impact the clarity and accuracy of engineering drawings.
The function not only removes dangling dimensions from the active sheet of the SolidWorks drawing, but also provides the option to remove all dangling dimensions from the other sheets in the drawing, if any are present.
