The Face Area feature of the SolidWorks Cimtools Add-in allows you to calculate the area of a selected face or set of faces of a SolidWorks part, and inserts the value in a property (you can choose to insert it in General Property or in Configuration Specific).
Using this function you can quickly obtain the area to be painted, the wetted surface or the total surface on which to apply a treatment and insert it into a LDM or ERP.

Faces: Selection of the faces to calculate the area. If several faces are chosen, the total area will be the sum of all of them.
Property name: Indicates the name given to the property. It is modifiable.
Units: By means of a drop-down menu you can choose the type of unit of measurement of the selected area.
